Travelling to London in the spring is a wonderful experience. My first trip to London was in the autumn of those many years ago. It happened near the end of October. So, since I started living in the UK, I do not want to miss my first spring season in the UK by not travelling to parks in London, one of which is St. James Park.
St. James' Park is the oldest of London's eight royal parks, and it can be found on the Mall, to the side of Buckingham Palace. The park is home to a variety of rare species, including pelicans (which sadly I didn't see), and has a long and complicated history. It was formerly where King James housed his exotic birds and animals, including crocodiles, camels, and an elephant, in the early 1600s.
I remember walking past this park last year and seeing a lot of beautiful black swans floating around the pond, but during my previous visit, I could only see one black swan that looks quite sick with its fur falling out of its skin. Though, she still looks astonishing to me.
I went with a few friends and took a bunch of photos with the cherry blossom trees. The weather was so perfect and everyone was just enjoying the warmth of spring by hanging out on the grass. I've never seen Sj. James Park is as full as it was before in my life, but that's probably because of the lack of experience that I have here too!😂
Anyway, we had a good walk around the park, we rested for a bit, and took so many beautiful pictures there. It was a really good experience to spend your afternoon in St. James Park. My only wish was to stay longer and bring my book there so I could enjoy my time by reading a few chapters in the park!
if you're looking to get some cherry blossoms shots in London, I'd recommend you to visit St. James Park and take as many as you can because they grew so many cherry blossoms trees and they're absolutely stunning! And as for time, I reckon the morning is the best time to visit the park because it won't be as crowded as it is in the afternoon!
Let me know how do you take your pictures there and tag me on your post, bc I would love to see people's pictures in St. James Park too!
